2021 Triumph Bonneville T100

The Triumph Bonneville T100, Following my recent visit to Triumph HQ and the test ride on the Street Twin i wanted to see how the T100 compares to the Street Twin I just rode. I do have the T120 coming in a couple weeks so if its not already on here keep your eyes peeled!.

Ok while the bikes look similar ish! The T100 feels larger, with the higher seat height and bigger fuel tank at 14.5l with a wet weight of 228kg. While a heavy bike, it felt very planted and nimble in the corners and as you exit the corner a fist full of throttle coupled with that burble of the epic Twin engine, the torque hits you and fires you off to the next corner.

If your a tall rider i recommend the T100 and you have the option of A2 licence on both the Street twin or the T100, so if your thinking of these bikes i would recommend a test ride on both see which one suits you best.

Both bikes are similar in many ways but for me the T100 looked and felt better with those gorgeous twin clocks that also have the lcd display showing you gear indicator, fuel gauge, two rider modes, road and rain. The engine has lots of torque low down and picks up very quickly, coupled with the lovely smooth ride by wire throttle, one of the best used on any modern bike today.

The T100 also comes with a torque assist clutch as standard, Traction control. Suspension is by the way of 41mm big piston non adjustable forks with rubber gators and on the rear it has twin rear suspension units.

On brakes the T100 comes with a single Brembo front calliper on a single disk and on the rear a Nissin calliper with ABS. Wheels are 32 spoke wire with aluminium rims which look beautiful on this bike, more spokes harder to clean though. 😂

The bike also comes with standard front headlight and LED rear tail light, and a handy thing is you get a USB charge socket under the seat.

Seat Height is 790mm
